Dedicated E's Review
Harper Sloan, you slayed me again. This book, with is sweet, sweet romance had me smiling like a goof, and crying like a baby. I dare any girl to try and not fall in love with Liam Beckett!
The story of Megan and Liam is, I’m sure, one that’s happened all to often in recent times. A woman and her baby being left behind after their loved one is lost at war. I can’t even begin to imagine what this would be like to live through, I admire Megan for her strength, for her not letting it affect Molly anymore than it should.
When she is taken in by the Corps family, we knew she would be looked after – and I don’t think it matters if you’ve read the books prior to this story, you know without a doubt when reading it that this family is going to take care of its own.
What can I say about Liam Beckett. The man is a freaking dream! Oh he’s stubborn, in that oh so dreamy way, but I couldn’t find a flaw with him. He’s a true Alpha who when he sets his sights on something that he wants, he goes after it with everything in his arsenal. On the flip side he is a total cutie that had me tearing up something rotten. There is something about a man, giving a girl a teapot bracelet that just tore me up (you’ll understand once you’ve read it).
I have no hesitations whatsoever about recommending this book!
